First Presbyterian Church: Organ Use Form

ORGAN USE REQUEST PROCEDURE

Purpose Statement: The purpose of this form is to coordinate the use of our Taylor & Boody Organ.

We need your help with the following:

1. Access to the Organ is coordinated through the Director of Music, Bryan Stenson.

2. Those wishing to use the Organ for a lesson must sign out a Sanctuary front door key during office hours. Office hours are currently 1PM-5PM on Mondays and Fridays, and 10AM-2PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. By submitting this form, you agree to return the Sanctuary front door key the same day as the lesson. An ID is required as security for the Sanctuary front door key to the church office.

3. Organists preparing for a recital or with other ongoing practice requests may request use of a Sanctuary front door key for practice and the recital. These key requests are approved by our Director of Music on an individual basis.

4. Guest Organists agree they will not adjust the climate controls in the Sanctuary; they also agree to turn off lights, dispose of trash in the dumpster at the back of the church parking lot, and secure the Sanctuary upon departure.

5. All Organ use requests are reviewed and approved by the Director of Music and Church Office. Specific questions about our Organ Use Policy should be directed to the Director of Music, Bryan@oldfirstchurch.org.
